The Lamp Project

Inspiration for this project comes from the Core Knowledge Lesson Plan Website.

Lamps Before:

Students leared about the Art Deco, Arts and Crafts, and Art Nouveau Movements.  Then they collected lamps and supplies, and set about repurposing and redecorating the lamps into new beings of art and light.  They then put the lamps up for sale at our annual benefit auction.  (The lamps did sell - all to one generous bidder who then allowed students to take their lamps home if they wished!)
