Ava: Mama, I was going to dump my water on Wyatt's head, but I decided to drink it instead because I thought you might be mad and make me clean it up.

The same child is flopping her body around in her chair, attempting to get closer to the table or protesting the lack of child labor laws in this house, hard to tell which..
Child: "I need scooted in!"
Mama: "Why don't you get down and scoot the chair in that way?"
Child: "Because then I'll wander off and play with things!"
