Another Christmas time project, this one is fantastic to leave with a sub; it is very straight-forward and easy to accomplish in one class period. Aside from being a fun holiday project, the gingerbread project inspires creativity, and teaches students about framing a picture unexpectedly to give it more interest. It is also a great project for kinders because they have to practice good coloring skills and "nailing the white."
