Tank top to Ava dress

Here is a hideous women's-sized tank that I trimmed up and turned into a dress for Ava.  She was quite delighted with the result!  I have her try these things on to see if they fit, and then I can't get her to take them off so I can finish up the seams.  For this dress, I just laid one of her current tank tops on top of the dress, marked the edges, cut and sewed the seams.

She still has that lovely toddler belly.  So. Darn. Cute!
