Cone Peak Trail

We took our kids out hiking this past weekend, up Cone Peak Trail toward Cone Peak Meadows and Iron Mountain.  For the first time, they did much of the walking themselves.  Ava hiked about half the time, and didn't do any complaining.  Her only comment after a while of steady climbing was, "Did you know my legs are getting really tired?"  So we had a snack break.
