Seasonal Color Study in Watercolor

After looking at examples, students watercolored three sections of color that related to different seasons.  Then they painted similar trees in silhouette, and finished the piece off with acrylic splatter paint in coordianting colors.  Simple, easy to do, and with a very high success level among students.  I have one student who often talks down on his artistic abilities, but after I explained the project, he said, "I can do that!"  Hooray!  Inspiration for this project came from the artist KL Bailey.
